Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 18, 2026  ·  QuRated.art is a DBA of Ignite Websites Marketing and Graphic Design, Inc.  ·  Terms of Service

This Privacy Policy describes how Ignite Websites Marketing and Graphic Design, Inc., doing business as QuRated.art ("we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the QuRated.art platform. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following categories:

Account information - When you register, we collect your name, email address, password (stored as a one-way hash), business name, and subscription plan selection.

Profile and gallery information - You may optionally provide a bio or artist statement, profile or gallery photo, phone number, Instagram handle, website URL, and studio or gallery address. This information is displayed publicly on your gallery page if provided.

Artwork data - We store artwork titles, descriptions, dimensions, medium, year, pricing, and images you upload to the Service.

Sales and payment records - When a sale is completed through an integrated payment processor, we receive and store the buyer's name, email, shipping address, and transaction details. When you log a manual sale (cash, check, Venmo, etc.), we store the buyer information and payment details you provide.

QR scan data - Each time a QR code generated by the Service is scanned, we collect the date and time along with request and scan-context information such as approximate geographic location (derived from IP address, not GPS), device type, and referrer. We use this information to provide artwork and printed-material activity reporting, support ScanAlytics features, and send scan notifications where applicable. Artist- and gallery-facing reporting is organized around artwork, shows, printed materials, timing, and activity patterns, not named visitor profiles.

Technical data - We collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps during your use of the admin interface.

2. How We Use Your Information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising purposes.

3. Buyer Information

When a buyer completes a purchase through your gallery page, their name, email address, and shipping information are collected by the payment processor and shared with you for order fulfillment. This buyer information is stored within the Service and accessible through your admin dashboard. You agree to use buyer information only for fulfilling orders and not for unsolicited marketing communications.

4. Public Information

The following information is publicly visible to anyone who visits your gallery page:

You have full control over what profile information you make public and may update or remove it at any time through your account settings.

5. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with payment processors to facilitate artwork transactions. Where QuRated.art acts as the merchant of record, your sub-merchant relationship is with QuRated.art directly. In cases where you maintain your own direct payment processor account (such as Stripe), that processor's privacy policy governs their handling of transaction data.

We use Cloudflare as a content delivery and security layer in front of our own servers. Cloudflare may process request metadata (IP addresses, request headers) as traffic passes through their network. All media files (artwork images, logos, profile photos) are stored on servers owned and operated by us.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for the duration of your subscription. Upon cancellation, account data is retained for 90 days to allow for reactivation, after which it may be deleted. Sales records and scan logs associated with completed transactions are retained for a minimum of 3 years for business record purposes. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed password storage, session security controls, and restricted database access. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Cookies

The Service uses session cookies for authentication and a first-party QR analytics identifier to support ScanAlytics reporting. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party behavioral tracking cookies, and we do not create cross-site advertising profiles. Your browser may allow you to control cookie settings, though disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the admin interface and QR scan analytics.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly remove it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last updated. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
